We’ll have a full breakfast one morning and a continental breakfast to see you off on Sunday and who knows what other treats we may come up with!!!

Lots of fun activities are being planned also. Washer toss, beanbag baseball, cornhole, bingo, and cakewalk all provide an opportunity to have some fun and meet new people. You’ll also want to browse through our silent auction items as well as our white elephant and book sales. Don’t forget to visit our vendors and attend our seminars and demonstrations!!! You may also want to spend some time just sitting back and enjoying the leisurely life of the Bayou, listen to the many voices and dialects and visit with others as they go by – in Cajun Country there are no strangers only friends we haven’t met yet!!! We’ve got a great tour planned for you on Wednesday, Oct. 19. We will begin with a 9:00 a.m. tour of Martin Accordions where the Martin family will treat you to a lively musical history of the area as part of the tour of their small family business. It’s a rocking good tour!!! We will then have lunch and a tour at Vermilionville where you will be treated to some good Cajun cooking followed by a self-guided tour (return to the rally grounds at your leisure) of original, authentically preserved homes and businesses from the past depicting the lifestyle and history of the peoples who settled this area!!! Please indicate on you registration if you are interested in this tour (prepayment is not necessary). We will need to give Vermilionville a count a couple of weeks before and will need to put a cap at that time on the number of attendees we will be able to allow on the tour!!!

For early arrivals, your registration packet will include information on other tours and places of interest in the area to explore on your own. Updated information on tours and other rally updates will be posted here and on our FB website – Louisiana WIT Rally – the registration form and other information will be shared there also.
