General RV, that is where we purchased our new to us 2018 Gulf Star Vista 23RSS. I wanted to tell you about our experience purchasing the trailer. I traveled (wife could not go) from Florida to Elizabethtown PA in order to purchase the sight unseen trailer risking a deposit. Craig Ball our salesman did not over sell us on what we were getting. In fact it was nicer than we expected, basically new. Before the trip he quickly answered every question we put to him and there were a lot of questions. Craig also took care to make sure the technicians knew I was traveling on day one and needed no surprises. On pickup day,@ General RV’s process was great! Debbie took me through the trailer explaining every switch and function as I tested them recording any issues we found (we did find 1 small issue that was fixed before leaving). Before pulling off, the technician showed me how the hitch worked and explained the electric brakes and how to test/adjust them. He also answered a few of my technical questions. A 1,000 miles later and the trailer is in Florida.

Went to pick up our camper that General RV has had since Dec 2024 for repairs. The camera system they installed when we purchased the camper new in Oct 2023, still does not work and they charged us again to repair it (even though they admitted they cut a wire during the first installation). The camper was clean when dropped off and now it is filthy dirty inside. The unauthorized repair they claim was needed in our bathroom was poorly done and looks terrible. So there is another repair we will have to finish. This is a $120,000 5th wheel! This dealership in Elizabethtown, PA is the absolutely WORST dealership, especially their crappy service department. No one takes accountability for their screw ups and they just pass the buck from one person to another. Will never bring my camper back here for service/repairs. Now finding out they charged us over $600 to install a TV bracket in our storage area! This place is absolutely criminal! Time to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and the attorney general's office.

As service centers go (General RV in Elizabethtown, PA), we couldn't have made out any better. Great facilities. Super friendly and helpful staff! Maria P was made for customer service. She met us at our rig, detailed the process that would take place for our repairs, made us feel welcomed and comfortable while we waited, checked on us and provided updates, made sure we ate, and on. Maria recalled a previous instance of one of my concerns, knew what I was trying to explain, and documented exactly what needed attention. The dealer experience was great (new RV at a fair price) and the facility is just as good. But Maria makes this "the" best customer service we've experienced in a very long time.

The service staff is phenomenal, they went above and beyond! Missy was very detailed with check in and walking me through the process and courtesy inspection. She stayed in contact with me as my coach was getting service and worked with me for a convenient pick time. Beyond the great service, I could sense a teamwork mentality between the staff members throughout my experience. That’s the kind of people I want working on my coach.

First time ever at General RV, an I’m very impressed how they care for their service customers. I had a warranty recall, they completed it on time. My service advisor Missy Hoffman promptly told me care of me, Two other guys who were doing trailer inspections, one was Robert, the other I do not have, but both were very helpful, courteous and respectful. If your entire dealership operates this way , you guys will be very successful. Thank you Dale and Beth
