Great experience working with John and his staff from the time we started checking out the extensive inventory on their lot to the day we signed our papers and took delivery of our Luna Rover. Pricing was great, as was their quick response to some follow up questions we had concerning licensing our new purchase. We couldn't be happier!

I spotted my 68 VW online from Arizona and loved the look of it. I called John and ended up buying it sight unseen - all based on what he told me the condition of the car was. (I have never done that before). I just received the car and it is in MINT condition, much better than John described. He was great to work with and we did everything by mail, a quick process. John is a real straight shooter. Also, I was out of the country for a month and he held the car for me until I returned to arrange transport. I would highly recommend Gerton Auto Sales.

After a month or more of searching the internet for a 2017 Winnebago View that was configured the way that we wanted it, I finally located one at Gerton Auto Sales in Mount Vernon, IN. Seasoned RVers all have their own "must have" list, when it comes to picking the necessary options on their rig, and for my money, John Gerton totally nailed it on this coach. Unlike so many other Views that I was looking at, John avoided ordering frivolous features that would have only pushed the price up. As a result we ended up with a fully featured, high end coach, that was very competitively priced. What's more, John was extremely knowledgeable of the unit, which gave me the confidence to buy it sight unseen; something that this fussy 60+ year old, wouldn't normally consider! When we came across John and Jill on the Internet, my wife and I were preparing to return to the States from six months in Mexico. We live in Vermont for the Spring, Summer, and Fall, so we thought that maybe we could fly into Evansville, IN, pick up our new View, and then drive it back to Vermont. This was no small feat, since we had six months worth of luggage with us, and puppy that we had adopted while in Mexico. John worked with us at every turn, helping us figure out the logistics of how to make this happen as smoothly as possible, and it really couldn't have been any smoother. After receiving a very thorough tutorial from John regarding the features of our new RV, we drove out of the Gerton Auto Sales parking lot with huge smiles on our faces, and we have been smiling ever since! Thank you John and Jill for your amazing professionalism and hospitality during our short visit to Mount Vernon. Gerton Motor Sales might seem a bit off the beaten track, but I am confident that it will be worth your while to go see them, as it definitely was for us. After buying several RVs at other dealerships, I know that we will be a return customer for years to come, and we highly recommend them to others!

We ended up buying our Ember 170 MRB from Gerton's. We were wintering in Texas and ended up doing most of the purchase process over the phone with Journie. 3 weeks later we arrived home to Tennessee and made arrangements to pick up the rv. We arrived at our scheduled time and the camper was sitting out front, prepped and ready to go. Gavin gave us a thorough walkthrough and was very knowledgeable with the Truma system and go power solar package. I fully expected no one to know anything about them so what a pleasant surprise it was to have a knowledgeable person explain them to us. We had a minor problem with the shower faucet and the owner John immediately pulled one of his technicians away to work on our unit. Within an hour or so it was ready to go. While we were waiting Gavin was able to do some programming on the solar controller for me. So with that completed we were able to make our 3-hour drive home without any problems. I'm sure if we ever need any type of dealer service that they will be able to handle it. We just want to say thank you to John, Journie, Gavin, and the service tech (sorry I missed his name) for making this a pleasurable, stress-free purchase. Frank and Jodie
