We had a wonderful experience this was our first “Class A” purchase Our sales representative Diana Mincer did a wonderful job. We always felt that she had our back throughout the entire process even after the sale I would highly recommend this company and Diana.

TLDR: stay away if you want a stress free life. LA MESA sold me a piece of junk (that was apparently inspected) in January. Had i known the issues, i wouldn't have bought it. I wrote a bad review (which mysteriously disappeared) right after discovering the tanks were leaking, isolator solenoid was fried, among other issues. They had the courtesy to have me come in so they can "fix" it. (Kudos to them for not charging me) However, It's been 3 weeks and all the "repairs" are broken again minus the isolator solenoid relay. During the purchasing process, I was treated like a chump for either being young (25M), or looking at a rig that cost less than your average house. One of the techs quite literally told me "only the old folks get the red carpet I wish I never signed the contract, these guys got me good. I'll be paying $166k for a $49k RV after everything is said and done (my fault, i know). Make sure to read the fine print. Ive only put 150 miles on this thing and it has given me nothing but hassle and stress. I would return this thing in a heartbeat if I could. 1/10 stars, get your RV's somewhere else.

I just can’t express how awesome our experience was with La Mesa RV. Even though we bought what was maybe the most inexpensive coach they have ever sold… we were still treated like we were buying a million dollar rig. Very happy and impressed with their entire team.

On July 20, 2024, we purchased a 2020 Four Winds 27R Class C motor home from La Mesa RV in Sanford, FL Over all in the appearance was in good shape. We discovered that after we left the gate about a mile away from the dealership we found right turn signal out. Called them and they said they would fix it. I was furnished a link to the manual it was approximately 600 pages. I called Thor and asked if I could get one, it was going to be $600.00. We spoke to the sales manager and he said that he would print one. Other issues are a Spare Tire with mount, Coach battery was had black duck tape on the cover of the awning. I decided to get there legal department involved and we came to terms and they did compensate us for those issues. On February 12, 2024, I took the Motor home in for servicing. I received a call from the service center they said everything looks good but the tire need to be replaced because they are dry rotted all were passed the 5 year mark., Dry Rot just does happen in 7 months they just disguised the tires with tire shine and RV molding lubricant. I had some warranty work done January 2024 to replace the coach alternator and belt amongst other things. Upon leaving La Mesa/RecVan after the work was completed I heard a rubbing sound while making the first left out of their facility. I pulled over to inspect the noise and saw the inner fender liner (near the alternator) was severely bent…enough to leave a white crease in the plastic. Rather than removing four easily accessible bolts to take the skid plate off or removing the inner fender liner fasteners, the mechanic pulled the liner back to gain access to a point where the liner was permanently damaged/bent. Their “fix” was to use zip ties to secure the liner back into position. Fast forward to a couple weeks ago (February 2025). I was cleaning my EGR valve and noticed a coolant hose touching the fan shroud. I put a light on it and noticed significant chaffing on the hose from the shroud. Fortunately I noticed this before it rubbed a hole all the way through the coolant hose; however, the hose was damaged enough that it needed to be replaced. In order to get the new alternator belt on, the fan shroud needed to be removed. At no point within this year time frame did I or any service shop have a need to remove the shroud which points the finger at La Mesa/RecVan. The shroud has four channels (one in each lower corner and one on each side 1/2 way up) that the shroud should slide into. It was only secured by the top two fasteners. This caused the lower part of the shroud to kick out to the rear just enough to rub/chaff the coolant hose. That repair cost me $688.30 as it was beyond my scope. Between this and my horrible buying experience (from a different La Mesa/RecVan) I’ll never purchase another coach from La Mesa/RecVan again let alone recommend them. I filled out a lengthy and detailed buying experience review solicited from La Mesa/RecVan but never heard back. I don’t expect to hear from them regarding this review nor do I care but wanted to put this out there. If you have options then go elsewhere.
