Visit the facility where Winnebago Motorhomes come to life! Located in Forest City, IA Winnebago Motorhomes are built in one of the most technologically advanced RV manufacturing facilities in existence today.  Regular factory tours are offered April through October.  Read below for the details on the different tours provided and what you need to know before you arrive. 

FACTORY TOURS:

Forest City Tour (Class A & C Motorhomes)

Monday and Wednesday at 12pm

• Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at 9am and 12pm
• All tours are free and start at the Visitors Center in Forest City.
• Reservations are highly recommended to ensure a space on the tour.  Please call 641-585-6936.
• Closed-toe shoes are required.
• A safety vest and safety glasses are required and provided.
• There is significant walking and you will ascend and descend stairs on the tour
• Minors must be 16 years old and accompanied by a parent/guardian
• Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the tour
• No video or photography is allowed on the tour.
• The tour takes approximately 2 hours.

Lake Mills Tour (Camper Vans)

Monday and Wednesday at 9:30am

• All tours are free and start at the Visitors Center in Forest City.
• You will be transported approximately 15 miles to the Lake Mills Facility
• Reservations are highly recommended to ensure a space on the tour.  Please call 641-585-6936.
• Closed-toe shoes are required.
• A safety vest and safety glasses are required and provided.
• There is significant walking on the tour
• Minors must be 16 years old and accompanied by a parent/guardian
• Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the tour
• No video or photography is allowed on the tour.
• The tour takes approximately 2 hours.

Note: Regular tours are not offered on Holidays, the week of July 4th or the week of Grand National Rally (typically the 3rd week in July). To schedule a tour during winter months (November 1st through March 31st) please call 641-585-6178 or email [email protected].

Due to flexibilities in production schedules and just in time production practices, not all factory complex areas are in full operation at all times.  Due to this tours can be canceled with little notice.  Pre-registering will help and ensure you are informed in a timely manner.
