First Impressions of the 2025 Winnebago View 24R
See how the Newstate Nomads are enjoying RV life in this new floorplan.

Howard and Katelyn Newstate (@NewstateNomads) traveled in a Winnebago Navion 24D for more than five years and are excited to see what the newest models have to offer! This year, they are testing out multiple 2025 Winnebago View/Navion floorplans in search of their next RV.

First up was the versatile Winnebago View 24T floorplan with a murphy bed and wardrobe-style storage. (Watch their tour and read why it made them say "wow" here.) Now, they have just moved into the 2025 Winnebago View 24R floorplan and think that it is "like if the EKKO and the View had a baby."

Watch the video below to hear more of their first impressions of the 24R, get a glimpse of the new floorplan, and see how they are making it feel like home. You'll also see what their day-to-day life in this new RV has been like, including organizing all of their belongings, helping their dogs adapt to the new floorplan, cooking meals, and going on adventures with friends!

NOTE: This is a pre-production RV, so some features and details may change before Winnebago officially puts the 2025 Winnebago View/Navion 24R into production.

Did you recognize Phil and Stacy from Today is Someday in the video? They also tested out a Winnebago View recently and shared a helpful video with insights on moving into a Class C from a Class A motorhome. See their insights!

First Impressions of the 2025 Winnebago View 24R

Howard and Katelyn will be sharing more about this new Winnebago View floorplan in a future video, but for now here are some of the features that have impressed them the most:

  • Plenty of Bedroom Storage: With hanging closets under the bed as well as cabinets along the ceiling, the Newstates had room to spare and actually used some of the bedroom storage space to store items they don't use as often.
  • Small Slideout Allows for Easy Access: Even with the slideout pulled in, you can still walk all the way through the RV and are able to access the bathroom, fridge, and entire kitchen.
  • Comfortable Bed: The rear twin bed setup in the 2025 Winnebago View 24R also converts to one large sleeping space. This allowed the Newstates (and their dogs!) to have plenty of room to rest comfortably.
  • Quick to Setup and Pack Up: The Newstates found it extra simple to get the 2025 Winnebago View 24R packed up for a trip or setup for camping.

Hello Winnebago, Very very seriously, if I could buy one, I would be over there tomorrow, but cannot dent any part of my savings at present, as for just in case, and on many things into the future. But always really liked these RV's since seeing them in America, as not many of them in England and also Europe. Anyway, all the best, Richard W. Travell

Please build these with default Lithium batteries, maximum possible solar, propane delete and induction burners. The Truma Combi D E is a wonderful unit and should be on everything that's Diesel. Propane is for boomers - please make it go away. Next - I'd like to see the AWD version with the cab-over bunk. I need to be able to sleep 2 adults and 2 kids. Going into the future - you guys really need to invest in an EV chassis and make everything run off a mini-split for all heating. Work with Mercedes/Ford to make sure the traction battery is double their current offerings - meaning that we're looking at 200 KW batteries at bare minimum. If it's an EV, you can tie in the coach HVAC need directly to the vehicle HVAC system as those are quite capable. The HVAC parts are already there so that means you don't need a roof AC and separate Truma heater. Less parts = more better. Take the Tesla approach. Please be the Tesla of RVs.
