WinnSleep RV Mattress Insights & Winnebago Stitchcraft Facility Tour
Watch a behind-the-scenes video of how Winnebago makes its sewn RV components.

Have you ever wondered how your RV mattress is made? Not all RV mattresses are created with sleep quality in mind, which is why the Winnebago team decided to custom design a mattress that is both cozy and cooling.

James and Stef Adinaro of The Fit RV recently toured Winnebago's Stitchcraft Facility to get a first-hand look at the components of the WinnSleep RV mattresses and learn more about what makes this an ideal option for RVers. (They have one in their Winnebago EKKO and really enjoy it!) In the video below, join them on a tour with Pat—a very knowledgeable member of the Winnebago team who has worked there for almost fifty years!

If you have questions for James and Stef, please add your comment to the blog post on their website here.

About the WinnSleep RV Mattress

If you have searched for how to make your RV mattress more comfortable or how to keep your RV mattress from molding, Winnebago has created a customized solution to help with both of those common RVer concerns! (Read more about how Winnebago listens to the RV community in this article.)

The innovative new WinnSleep® System combines a superior two-layer, high-density hygienic foam mattress with a European suspension system to increase comfort, relieve pressure, and improve under-mattress air circulation to help eliminate condensation.

One layer of foam is firmer and offers support while the other is softer and helps keep you cool while sleeping. The mattress also includes a microbe shield layer, to further prevent bacteria and mold growth, as well as a cover with breathable fabric for an additional cooling factor.

About Winnebago's Stitchcraft Facility

The Winnebago Stitchcraft facility is where they make all of the sewn goods for Winnebago motorhomes, including the WinnSleep mattresses. The team also makes curtains, valances, decorative headboard pads, cab seats, dinette seats, sofas, window coverings, and more! (For tips on proper cleaning of your Winnebago RV fabrics and materials, read this article.)
