President's Message for November

Thanks to the Chandlers for a great outing at Palm Canyon Resort in Borrego Springs! The parade was a real hoot, and we got to hold (in my recollection) our first evening club meeting! With this newsletter, we’re going to try something new – each newsletter for the next several months will include an article on RV preventive maintenance, hoping to spark a bit more effort on our part to keep our rigs healthy and usable day-to-day over a longer term. Linda and I know that, with the age of our rig, this is important as we now embark on longer and more remote trips. We hope all our members get to enjoy their rigs as much as we enjoy ours on these trips!

We hope folks are considering supporting the club not just as hosts, but as members of the Executive Board. If so, please let John Woosley and Sue Hunt know
what your concerns and interests are. As mentioned previously, each member should be thinking of a month, as well as a location, for an event that they would like to host for next year. The main duties are to secure reservations for paid members, decide on the meals, and perhaps plan an activity. There are plenty of experienced club members to help. It’s also (always) that time to start planning those more extensive trips – when we can better take advantage of the travel range of our RVs? How far can we go… maybe to the Grand National Rally next year?!? Where else?

I hope this newsletter finds you, your family & friends well and ready to travel. Tell someone how much they mean in your life! We look forward to seeing everyone soon ~ in the meantime, happy trails!

Thanks,

Dan
