Hudson’s Hickory House BBQ, Douglasville, GA

Our gracious host was Lyn Brown and there were 13 members and 2 guests in attendance. Members who attended were Lyn Brown, John and Leslie Keener, Fred and Linda Tomsett, Franklin and Margaret Jackson, Dennis and Jean Harrison, Fred and Kathy Genrich and Roy and Sarah Sowers. Guests who attended were Hubert and JoAnn Blankenship who are former members of the club. It was so nice to see them again.

We traveled to Douglasville, Georgia to Hudson’s Hickory House BBQ Restaurant for our luncheon at 11:30 a.m. We all enjoyed tasty BBQ food plus fried green beans and fried pickles for appetizers and desserts of our choice such as fried apple pie, key lime pie and pecan pie. We want to give a big thank you to Dean Woodruff at Integrity RV for paying for all of our desserts.

Everyone enjoyed a great meal and then we had our club meeting which lasted 15 minutes. It was a short but nice meeting. We discussed our upcoming outings including our state rally “The Roaring 20’s” which will be held from April 22nd to 26th at the Bald Mountain Camping Resort in Hiawassee, Georgia.
